MAURICE (MO) BRINES
Guitar, Bass, Vocals, Harmonies

Mo Brines began his musical journey in 1966 with an EKO acoustic, eventually upgrading to a Teisco electric guitar he bought in Taiwan in 1968—both of which he still owns today. A self-taught musician, Mo has played in bands worldwide across multiple genres. Drawing influence from Grand Funk, Santana, Hendrix, Clapton, and Zeppelin, he is an independent singer-songwriter who prefers original compositions and artists who forge their own path.

Mo plays acoustic, electric, bass, and cigar box guitars, harmonica, and keys—and is known to throw in the occasional Theremin solo. He has released an LP under the name MO's ART, with a second currently in production.

Mo also operates BSHARP-STUDIOS, a modest recording studio in Concord, NC. Originally built for his own projects, it has grown into a welcoming space for fellow musicians. The studio offers tracking, editing, mixing, mastering, and production—plus CD/jewel case printing—all at an affordable price. Both analog and digital recording are available, along with a full arsenal of instruments, amps, and FX processors.
